Enterprise controls

Enterprise options for stronger boundaries: self-hosted branches, managed model programs, data residency, isolated deployments, and air-gapped scenarios.

Public draft for dev reviewLast verified 2026-05-22

Created from Phase 2 docs inventory and enterprise capability narrative.

Who this is for

Enterprise controls are for customers with stronger security, compliance, data, residency, or operational requirements than a standard hosted account can satisfy.

Self-hosted Kaidera branch

For enterprise customers, Kaidera can support internally hosted or customer-managed branches where appropriate. The customer-facing value is stronger ownership over environment, access, data boundaries, and operating controls.

Isolated and air-gapped options

Some use cases require stronger isolation from public provider paths. Kaidera can support isolated or air-gapped model options through enterprise delivery patterns and partners where the customer requirement justifies it.

Managed model programs

Managed model programs can include fine-tuning, dedicated endpoints, geographic controls, reserved or on-demand accelerator capacity, and partner-supported deployment paths for specialised customer use cases.

Data residency

Data residency expectations should be discussed during enterprise onboarding. The key customer question is where data, models, users, and support access are allowed to operate.

Break-glass support

Enterprise support may need a controlled break-glass process for urgent issues. Customers should know who can approve access, what gets logged, how long access lasts, and how it is reviewed afterward.

What to decide before setup

Before enterprise setup, define data boundaries, identity requirements, model/provider expectations, approval owners, support process, billing model, and any geography or isolation requirements.

What can go wrong

Enterprise control projects become slow when requirements are vague. Decide the business requirement first, then match the deployment, model, and support pattern to that requirement.
