What the service is

Kaidera Backup Service protects a single hosted Kaidera project at a time. A snapshot keeps the selected project material and recovery context together, so a restore stays scoped to the right project rather than rolling back an entire organisation.

How the project boundary works

Backup access is authenticated and tied to the correct customer and project. Each backup, listing and restore action is project-scoped. The service does not offer a one-click all-projects rollback.

Start with sales during the current rollout

Contact [email protected] with your organisation, first project, recovery objective and recovery approver. The Kaidera team will arrange enablement, plan the first backup and agree how a recovery drill should be checked.

• Name the project you want to protect first.
• Name the person authorised to approve a restore.
• Describe the recovery outcome you need to validate.

Back up and restore with care

A usable snapshot is created for one project at a time. Recovery is an explicit, reviewed action: choose the project and snapshot, confirm the intent, preserve the current state where the recovery flow supports it, and validate the recovered project before work resumes.

Secrets stay outside the snapshot

Raw API keys, provider credentials and environment values are not copied into a project backup. After a restore, your team may need to reconnect or re-enter those values through the normal secure setup process.

What comes next

Kaidera is adding the Workbench controls that will make project backup and restore visible in your workspace. Customer-portal self-service is planned for a later release; until then, Kaidera guides the same project-by-project process.
